So let not the strains of the looming depression coming our way burden your creative spirit, friends. Hard times have a way of stimulating the artistic juices. Tolkien, Lovecraft and Robert E. Howard made their mark in times like these. The 30s were also Hollywood's golden age unlike the previous four decades.
We may be looking at a prolonged period of economic collaspe with a 12 trillion deficit that will double in ten years with our elected hack representatives' current rate of spending. Oh, and this is without the inevitable healtcare bill that will add 2 to 4 trillion on top of it all. But don't worry. We're good for it. We're Congress' reliable ATM machine after all. So put your dreams and selfish ambitions aside and strive a lot harder to land a full time job to help finance this glorious change that's been dropped on us like Mt. Everest. Your great-great grandchildren (or someone elses) will be working hard to pay this debt down, pilgrim. Expect higher taxes and diminishing opportunities in order to sacrifice for the good of all. That's what your government expects of you.
